I started this quilt at our guild retreat last March. I found it as I was hunting wip's to pack for this year's retreat! A giant star quilt of 2 different vintage sheets. I could say this quilt is soft but nothing I could say to describe it would do it justice! So soft in its cheery floral prints. I had to finish it quick so that I could enjoy a cuddle on the porch swing. Thus it was birthed and tied in quick order. Trust me, it's a snuggle fest! Cuddling! Jessica Pearl

This is so bright and cheery. I love the cuddle factor in tied quilts. In fact, I am getting a floral quilt ready to tie this week.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty quilt. Brings a bunch of cheer to my dreary winter day.
ReplyDeleteI love vintage sheets, I have 2 wip using them. Wonderful finish.

ReplyDeletepretty vintage sheets=pretty quilt. i think it would be fun to make a giant star quilt sometime! great finish!!
ReplyDeleteLoving the sunny yellow of that sweet star quilt! It looks like a very inviting spot for snuggling. Great job, Jessica!
ReplyDeleteThat is so bright. I love all the vintage sheet quilts I see but never see the sheets out there for myself. There must be a secret. Anyway, I love the bright yellow quilt.
ReplyDeleteLovely muted colours. It makes me feel old when "vintage" sheets are used as I distinctly remember having a similar set when I first left home! Oh those were the days of psychedelic prints, but they seem to be coming back.
