I was introduced to Derwent Inktense Blocks at a Fiber Arts Group and I am loving using this color play element! I am making a muse doll to combine new and old techniques. So far, my muse has a quilted apron and a heart, the nurse in me insisted on an anatomically correct heart drawn in Inktense. Also in progress , a quilt block with embroidery and Inktense. Adding color is so much fun! Color me happy! Jessica Pearl
I've seen a few people using inktense recently and I definitely need to find out more! Loving both of these makes.
ReplyDeleteI love your muse doll. I'll look forward to seeing more of her. I also think your colouring looks great so I've just googled inktense blocks. Certainly something I'd love to try. Thanks for your inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteI have some inktense pencils and would like to to try them on fabric. Thanks for sharing. Love your doll so far.

ReplyDeleteThis is the first I've come across Inktense, thanks for the introduction!
ReplyDeleteI have done a little stamping on fabric but the color always dulls. I like how your ink or paint stays vibrant on the fabric. Jessica Junior is cute!! Have fun painting!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat.is this magic? I must google as it looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteYou come up with the most creative projects! She is adorable and I'll have to look into these Inktense colors!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I've been wanting to use Inktense for a while now! Will definitely have to give it a go one of these days and maybe even incorporate it into some hand sewing of sorts...Happy coloring indeed!
