Sleepy Finish

I stayed up past my bedtime to complete this baby quilt tonight.  Very simple 40's reproduction prints and the giraffe embroidery.  This one is for the pregnancy crisis center and will be presented to a newborn in hospital.  It makes me squeal with delight to think of this blankie covering a little baby bum in hospital basinet.  Lots of love and prayers in every stitch for this newborn.  Sweet dreams, wee one!  Off to dreamland myself!  Linking to let's make baby quilts! 1. Sweet blessed baby!!! The quilts I have enjoyed making the most are the ones that I give away to crisis pregnancy centers. It's such a wonderful thing to receive! When my twins were born almost 19 years ago I received the most beautiful gift bags filled with handmade items from women I never met. To this day that loving gesture has always stayed with me and is my inspiration to make and give back myself! God bless you Jessica!
